Our Story
Dracyon Corp is a combination of two words and companies: Drayton Corp and Halcyon Technologies. These were the original names of two successful companies which were started by Dracyon Corp President Jeff Shelton, and both companies were fueled by innovative products and hard work.
Dracyon Corp will combine the lessons learned from each of these companies to also become a successful business enterprise.

Jeff Shelton is a former VP of IGS and was the General Manager of the Environmental Division and was a member of the senior management team at Martin Engineering, and he has over 40 years of experience in various air cannon and SCR industries, he was also Sr. Management team and VO at IGS for 9 years. He has created and sold two other companies (Halcyon Corp and Drayton Technologies) that developed new and innovative technology related to air cannons. He is the holder of numerous patents related to these products, and he has other patents still pending. At IGS, he was known as an “air cannon innovations pioneer,” according to one article on their website (Cementing a New Standard of Cleaning in a Sticky Situation – Integrated Global Services Inc.)
Steve Hildebrant

After a distinguished 40-year career with Alabama Power Company, marked by high standards of excellence and top ranked performance focused on results, Steve decided to join the Dracyon team in 2023. He has extensive work experience in Marketing, Management, Workforce Development, Engineering, Customer and Community Relations. Steve spent almost half his career with Alabama Power working with Industrial customers helping them improve their processes or reduce their costs. Steve has worked directly with all levels of employees from company CEOs to plant maintenance teams.
Steve has led many organizations and served on many boards including appointments by then Governor Robert Bentley and Governor Kay Ivey to the Alabama Workforce Investment Board and the Alabama Workforce Council. He was the lead volunteer during the formation and establishment of the East Alabama Workforce Council, then served as its first chair. He has chaired other boards such as the Gadsden-Etowah Chamber of Commerce, Gadsden Rotary Club, Gadsden State Cardinal Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Etowah County, Salvation Army of Calhoun County, and the Family Success Center.
A long-time friend of Dracyon President Jeff Shelton, Steve has spent many hours discussing Air Cannons, their design, and their applications with Jeff.
Connor Shelton

Connor Shelton is originally from Jacksonville, Alabama, and he earned his degree in Business Management at Jacksonville State University in 2020. He has worked for IGS for 3 years as a sales representative in the cement industry. Through that work, he has traveled all over North America and worked with over a dozen different cement plants, helping provide them with solutions to their build-up problems. He has multiple patents pending for innovations in the industry, and he has been quoted in numerous articles and industry publications as well.
Connor lives in Jacksonville, Alabama, where he likes to golf with his dad.
David Sparrow

David Sparrow grew up as an Army dependent living abroad in Europe and Africa, as well as several states in the U.S. This exposed him to many cultures and customs allowing him to become proficient in speaking German and Arabic. He became a Jacksonville, Alabama, transplant when his father retired from the United States Army.
David attended Gadsden State Community College where he studied Business Management. Given his knowledge in Business Management, his work was concentrated in the areas of sales and service. He spent almost 20 years working as both a federal contractor and a federal employee for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. His area of expertise was in Government procurement and logistics. While employed there he was exposed to and participated in training first responders and military servicemen and women in Emergency Management, WMD’s, Hazardous Materials, Terrorism and Preparedness.
Following his work for the U.S. government, David worked in senior management as the Safety Director for Southeastern Utility Services based in Jacksonville, Alabama. He assumed a vital role when deployed on short notice in support of disaster response and line clearance. This was performed for various state power authorities in order to restore power for thousands of residents. He responded to several ice storms as well as Hurricanes Ian and Nicole. In this position David learned to create and promote a culture of safety for his employees, as well as employing a sense of urgency when necessary.
David resides in Jacksonville, Alabama, with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, studying and collecting artifacts from various historical conflicts across the globe, tinkering with his 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle, and studying and collecting weapons from different countries.
Janie Whisenhunt

Janie Whisenhunt has worked off and on with Jeff for years, including working with him at both Halcyon Corp and Drayton Technologies, and she has long-term experience with industry cleaning, especially items such as sonic horns and air cannons. She is from Jacksonville, Alabama, and currently resides there.
James Smith

James Smith is a graduate of Jacksonville State University and has been doing video production professionally for over 25 years. James has collaborated and produced many Air Cannon videos with Integrated Global Services and Jeff Shelton. James is also a professional dart player, which is why he takes his “shooting” seriously. James is from Huntsville, AL and currently resides in Jacksonville, AL with his wife Bobbi Jo.
Peter Klee

Peter Klee is based in Germany and brings to Dracyon Corp.
27 years of experience in dealing with Air Cannon development, procurement, Engineering, Layout and Technical Sales.
From 2020 to present Peter has run Klee Engineering Consults as a consultant for Air Cannon Technology and Applications. Peter’s background includes roles such as Product Specialist for Air Cannons at Martin Engineering GmbH, during which time he achieved the following:
- Development of Patented Automatic Blast Guard (Automated Thermo Safety Shield).
- Development of patented Quick -Change Air Cannon Nozzle (Smart Nozzle)
- Development of a supply chain for Air Cannons in Europe.

Dylan Peoples

Dylan Peoples is originally from Jacksonville, Alabama, and he earned his degree in Biosystems Engineering from Auburn University in 2025. With a background in engineering and a passion for problem-solving, he is beginning his career in the industrial sector by working with cement plants to explore innovative solutions for material flow and process reliability.
Outside of work, Dylan is an avid outdoors advocate who enjoys spending time in nature and pursuing a wide range of outdoor hobbies. He continues to carry the values of hard work, curiosity, and community from his hometown into both his professional and personal life.

Benjamin Richmond is a key member of the Dracyon team, supporting growth initiatives across sales strategy, operations alignment, and customer experience. With a strong focus on solving real-world plant challenges, Ben works closely with industrial clients to help identify the right solutions for reducing downtime, improving material flow, and increasing reliability.
Ben brings a practical, systems-driven approach to every project, helping ensure Dracyon’s equipment and services translate into measurable results in the field. He is especially passionate about building long-term customer relationships and supporting maintenance and production teams with solutions that work.
Alan Imm

In this role, he is dedicated to ensuring both customer success and the ongoing growth of Dracyon, collaborating closely with the President, Senior Management, and Sales to deliver support and seamless solutions that are simple and scale with the company needs.
Alan is strategically and tactically accountable for all internal company functions, including Product Development, Quality Assurance, Legal, IT, Finance, Accounting, HR, Procurement, Project Management, and Operations. During Alan’s tenure, Dracyon has successfully completed multiple customer projects, expanded employee resources by 70%, upgraded its IT software and hardware, migrated accounting, and developed systems for product pricing, project tracking, and part numbering.
